Avalanche Course

Another 3 day AIARE Level 1 Avalanche Course came to a successful close yesterday. Multiple snow storms have started giving us a nice variable snowpack with interesting layers and observations to be made.

  1. It was a super weekend with a great instructor – Thanks Dave! Looks like this weather’s just going to keep adding more to that variable snowpack… quick to rise, indeed (I am just now looking at the HIGH to CONSIDERABLE rating today!) The courses coming up will have great stuff to look at and learn from for sure. Take care out there, and thanks again!
